Kings Park FD-House fire on Geoffrey Lane

October 29, 2011. Huose fire. Call reported at 2312 hours. Units arrived to find smoke pushing from the house. Mutual aid from Smithtown FD for an engine to the scene and an engine to cover. Commack sent an engine and a ladder to the scene. East Northport FD sent an engine and an ambulance to cover at KPFD. Fire starts in the oil burner room int he basement and extends out to the ground level above. Fire placed under control within 30 minutes. Smithtown Messenger 11-10-11
