December 5, 2022. 2126 hours. The Hauppauge Fire Department is dispatched to a report of a vehicle fire on Mac Arthur Blvd. that was reportedly next to a structure. Engines 3-8-4, 3-8-13 and Quint 3-8-5 responded with Fire Marshal Gottlieb, Chiefs Crean and Mendola. Arriving units found a fully involved vehicle, however it was not endangering a structure. The fire was declared under control at 9:40 PM. Chief Crean requested that the Suffolk County Police Arson Squad be notified. Photos by Fire Marshal Gottlieb.
