CIHVAC and CI Fire Dept responds to a crash in Islandia

October 31, 2019 0025 hours. Central Islip Fire Department and Central Islip Hauppauge Ambulance were dispatched to a report of a traffic collision on Motor Parkway near Hawthorne Street in Islandia. Units arrived to find that a passenger vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole, coming to rest on its side. All of the occupants had self extricated. CIHVAC handled the transport while CIFD secured the vehicle. The scene was then turned over to SCPD.
