December 29, 1992. 886 West Jericho Tpke. Fire reported at 1926 hours. Smithtown was dispatched to this alarm first, but it is in the Hauppauge Fire District. At the time, it was a vacant single story office building. The building has been rebuilt and still stands just east of General Tire on the same side of the street. This fire was suspected of being part of the firefighter arson spree.
