December 24, 2022. 1333 hours. The Lakeland, Nesconset and Ronkonkoma Fire Departments are dispatched to a report of a garage on fire at 2861 Chestnut Avenue in Lakeland. Units arrive to find a fire in a large detached garage. One line was stretched and the fire was extinguished within 20 minutes. There were no injuries.
