December 31, 2022 at 1347 hours. The Selden Fire Department is dispatched to a reported house fire at 3 Arrow Street. Arriving units encounter fire coming from a garage integrated into the ground level and through the roof of the floor above in a two story private dwelling. Crews stretched in and went to work, while mutual aid was requested to the scene from Holtsville FD for a RIT, Farmingville FD for an engine, Coram for an engine and Centereach for a truck. The fire was knocked down within 30 minutes and there were no reported injuries. The Setauket Fire Department sent an engine to cover and Port Jefferson Ambulance sent a rig to cover.
