January 11, 2017, 0230 hours. Hauppauge FD was dispatched to a report of a fire at Jet Sanitation located at 232 Blydenburgh Road. Units arrived to find a very heavy fire condition in one of the buildings, which had already partially collapsed. While crews went to work, the mutual aid plan was activated. Numerous master streams were deployed and the fire was extinguished within a few hours.
