October 6, 2019 0356 hours. Lakeland Fire Department responds to a report of a house fire at 150 Calvert Avenue off Express Drive South. Suffolk PD is first on scene and advises of an active fire in a bedroom. Engine 3-13-3 arrives and confirms the fire, requesting Ronkonkoma and Bohemia to the scene. The fire was placed under control within 20 minutes. Suffolk Police Arson Detectives are investigating as a matter of routine.
