February 1, 2023, 1629 hours. The Kings Park Fire Department responds to Ravenwood Drive in regard to a motor vehicle accident. Units arrive to find that a pickup truck left the roadway and crashed into an unoccupied private house. While there was extensive damage to the house and the vehicle, the driver was not seriously injured. Fire Marshals from the Town of Smithtown and a representative of the Building Department responded to the scene to insure that the house was properly secured. Lou Scannon photos.
