Central Islip FD-House fire on Babylon Street

June 2, 2013, 1340 hours. The Central Islip Fire Department Responded a house fire at 125 Babylon Street. Upon arrival, First Lieutenant Robert C. Miller encountered fire on the ground level and transmitted the working fire. . 3-7-3 was the first Central Islip unit on scene and quickly stretched an attack line. Third Assistant Chief Larry Parada arrived on scene and established command. Mutual aid was requested from Islip Terrace and Hauppauge Fire Departments with medical assistance provided by Central Islip Hauppauge Ambulance. There were no injuries. Suffolk Police Arson detectives are investigating. All fire department units were released at 1415 hours.
