February 10, 2023 1530 hours. The Farmingville Fire Department is dispatched to 51 Pinedale Avenue in regard to a report of a house fire. Units arrive to find a fire on the rear deck extending up and into the upper level of a two story dwelling. Lines were stretched and operated with all visible fire knocked down by 1551 hours. The fire was placed under control at 1600 hours. Farmingville was assisted at the scene by Holbrook with an engine, Selden a RIT, North Patchogue with an Ambulance, Medford an engine, Holtsville an engine and Ronkonkoma with a ladder. Centereach sent an ambulance to cover for the duration of the incident.Brookhaven Town Fire Marshals are handling the investigation. Photos are from the Farmingville FD Facebook Page.
