April 7, 2023, 1710 Hours. The Commack Fire Department responds to a report of a brush fire on the Sunken Meadow Parkway. Units arrive to find a large wooded area burning on the southbound side near New Highway. Under the command of 2-11-32, crews from E3, E4, Brush 10, L14, and R9 accessed the fire from the parkway while crews from E2 and E13 worked the fire from a dirt path along Allegheny Place.
