May 15, 2023, 1730 hours. The Centereach Fire Department is dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on Middle COuntry Road at Hawkton Place. Units arrive to find a Yamaha sport bike down in the westbound lanes. The lone operator refused rescue so firefighters applied speedy dry to the fluid spill from the bike and turned the scene over to Suffolk Police. Chase Millwater photo
