May 16, 2023 0835 Hours. The Hauppauge Fire Department along with Central Islip Hauppauge Ambulance are dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a school bus at the intersection of Motor Parkway and Blydenburg Road. Units arrive to find that a passenger vehicle crashed into the drivers side front of a full sized school bus in the intersection. No one was trapped, but EMS transported the operator of the passenger vehicle, the bus driver and one student from the bus. None of the other students were injured.
