May 3, 2015, 2326 hours. The Central Islip Fire Department responded to a signal 13 at 41 Storey Avenue. Upon arrival Third Assistant Chief Patrick C. Murphy found heavy fire on the second floor of the dwelling and transmitted the working fire. First Assistant Chief Robert McGee was in command of all Central Islip Units on scene. Engine One was the first engine one scene and quickly went into operation. Mutual Aid was provided by the Hauppauge, East Islip and Brentwood Fire Departments as well as the Central Islip Hauppauge Community Ambulance.
