February, 5, 2015, 1554 hours. The Central Islip Fire Department responded to a report of a house on fire at 27 East Halley Lane. Upon arrival First Assistant Chief Robert McGee Jr. and Third Assistant Chief Patrick Murphy found smoke showing from a second floor window. Chief McGee transmitted a working fire shortly after. 3-7-3 was the first apparatus on scene and quickly went into operation.
