August 26, 2023, 1805 hours. The Lakeland, Nesconset, Ronkonkoma and Bohemia Fire Departments are dispatched to a report of a stove fire at 37 Calvert Avenue in the Lakeland Fire District. Units arrive to find a fire in the kitchen on the upper level of a two story private dwelling.
Additional mutual aid was requested from the East Brentwood, Hauppauge, West Sayville and Holbrook Fire Departments as well as from Central Islip and Community Ambulance.
