NY Governor signs LOSAP Bill into law

February 1, 1989. LOSAP program is designed to help retain current firefighter’s and recruit new members. The program allows for a pension plan for members who obtain a required minimum number of credits each year. Members would be vested upon completion of 5 years of credited service, and benefits would be payable at an age determined by the local governments.
