Farmingville FD-house fire on Sycamore Avenue

March 2, 2019 Farmingville Fire Department responds to 20 Sycamore Avenue in regards to a phone alarm reporting smoke in the living room of a two story private dwelling. Units arrive to find a active fire in a bedroom of the house. Auto mutuals are started from Ronkonkoma, Holtsville, Selden and  Centereach. The fire was quickly knocked down and extinguished without incident. Fire Marshals from the Town of Brookhaven are handling the investigation.
