Centereach FD-House fire on Dixie Lane

June 16, 2021 The Centereach, Selden, Ronkonkoma and Nesconset Fire Departments were dispatched to a report of a house fire at 6 Dixie Lane in the Centereach Fire District. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke pushing from the eaves. Firefighters quickly located and extinguished the fire, which was within the attic area of this single family home. Two uninjured dogs were removed from the house. There were no reported injuries and the fire is being investigated by Fire Marshals from the Town of Brookhaven.
