March 14, 2022 1218 hours. Setauket Fire Department is dispatched to 22 Old Field Road for a reported garage on fire. Units arrive to find an active fire in a detached two car garage. Mutual aid was requested from the Port Jefferson FD for a ladder, Stony Brook FD for an engine, Terryville FD for an engine and St. James FD to cover. The fire was quickly extinguished and all mutuals were cancelled while en-route. Fire Marshals from the Town of Brookhaven are investigating.
