March 28, 1962 15 year old James Davis takes family truck out for unauthorized joy ride, loses control when a tire blows and rolls the truck several times on Route 347. Davis abandons the truck and walks two miles back to his house. Davis grabs fathers target shooting rifle, which fires pellets the size of a .22 slug and shot himself outside the house.
