Commack FD-Fatal house fire on Inez Lane

March 29, 2003 Fire reported at 1837 hours. 911 received more that 50 calls reporting a fire and explosion. House was a total loss. Victim Jean Lenz, 81. Lenz was the homeowner who rented out the downstairs part of her house. The tenant was not present at the time of the fire. PD states that the victim died of smoke inhalation. Fire and explosion was a result of a gas leak. NEED EXACT HOUSE NUMBER
