December 19, 2017 2310 hours. Centereach FD responds to a house fire on Tree Road. Arriving units found heavy fire venting out of the upper level of a two story private dwelling. Crews stretched lines into the house and mutual aid was requested from Setauket FD for a RIT and Selden FD for an engine. FD personnel operated on scene for 2 hours. Fire in being investigated by the Brookhaven Town Fire Marshals Office. There were no injuries.
