January 10, 2013 2130 Hours. Kings Park Fire Department responds to 47 Springmeadow Drive in regard to a structure fire. Units arrive to find smoke in the house as a result of an active fire in an electric clothes dryer within a two story irregularly shaped dwelling.
The fire was extinguished, the clothes dryer was removed from the house and the house was ventilated. There were no injuries. Smithtown Fire Marshals handle the investigation.
