Smithtown-H.H. Halo’s barn burns

April 17, 1892. At about 2AM, Mr. H.H. Halo and family were awakened to find their barn on fire. It was too late. The barn which was a fine large one, was soon burned to the ground. Two horses and two cows were burned, also the hay that was in the barn. It was undoubtedly the work of a “Firebug” and a certain person is suspicioned. Without doubt it was one of the Kick C Tribe. There was a small insurance on the building.
