April 30, 2022. 1247 hours. The Terryville Fire Department responds to a report of a house on fire at 23 Evergreen Avenue in Port Jefferson Station. Units arrive to find an active fire in the kitchen of a two story private dwelling. The fire was extinguished and placed under control at 1300 hours. There were no reported injuries. Brookhaven Town Fire Marshals are investigating.
