April 30, 2022 2115 hours. The Brentwood Fire Department responds to multiple calls of a house fire at 7 Kirk Road. Units arrive to find heavy fire throughout a two story 30X30 dwelling. Multiple hand lines were stretched and operated and at one point crews were pulled out and master streams were deployed. Brentwood was assisted at the scene by West Islip with a Quint, Bay Shore FD with a ladder and Central Islip FD with a RIT. The East Brentwood Fire Department sent a unit to cover for the duration. Islip Town Fire Marshals and Suffolk Arson Detectives are investigating. Photos by Ken Bradbury.
