Devoted husband of Elva (nee Conklin), and loving father of Vida Runko and father-in-law of Charles Runko. Cherished grandfather of Christopher and Jenny. Loving brother of Elizabeth Hlatky, Alex Pelkowski, Louis Pelkofsky, Frances Hoeffner, Anna Abramoski, Stanley Pelkowski, and Genevieve Babski. Visiting, Monday and Tuesday 2-5 and 7-9 PM, at Brueggemann Funeral Home, 522 Larkfield Rd., East Northport, L.I. Commack Fire Department services, 8 PM Tuesday. Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM Wednesday, at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, East Northport. Interment Commack Cemetery.
