Hauppauge FD/CIHVAC-Fatal crash on Terry Road

May 7, 2022 1415 hours. The Hauppauge Fire Department and Central Islip Hauppauge Ambulance respond to a report of an MVA at the intersection of Terry Road and Old Hauppauge Road.
Via SCPD Press Release: Suffolk County Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a woman in Hauppauge this afternoon.  Edith H. Flores was driving a 2015 Jeep westbound on Hauppauge Road when she made a left hand turn onto Terry Road and collided head-on with a 2016 Honda CR-V being driven by Carol Anne Faulhaber at 2:08 p.m.  Faulhaber, 71, of Ronkonkoma, was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where she was pronounced dead. Flores, 62, of Shirley, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. A male passenger in Flores’ vehicle was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.  Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to contact the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
