May 21, 2022 1509 hours. The Hauppauge Fire Department responds with CIHVAC to a report of a motor vehicle crash with overturn on the eastbound side of the Long Island Expressway between exits 56 and 57. Units arrive to find a box truck on its side blocking the right and center lanes. With no entrapment and no injuries, firefighters addressed a fuel leak and turned the scene over to Suffolk Police.
