May 31, 2021 1645 hours. The Kings Park Fire Department was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 141 Cedar Road. Upon arrival, smoke and flames from the attic were observed and a 13/35 was activated. Crews made an aggressive interior attack on the fire and operated under the command of 4-1-31 for approximately 45 minutes to bring the fire under control. Mutual aid was provided from our neighboring fire departments including Smithtown, Commack, St. James, Northport, East Northport, as well as Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
