June 2, 1987 Two fires at the Hauppauge High School on this date. One fire in an electrical panel and the second was in the school library. These are the 7th and 8th fires at the school since September of 1986. 3 students have been arrested thus far but have only been charged with setting two of the fires. 6-11-1987 Smithtown News
