June 20, 2022, 2022 hours. The North Amityville Fire Company responds to 249 and 250 Pawnee Court in regards to a house fire. Units arrive to find two house trailers burning. At least one trailer was destroyed.
North Amityville was assisted at the scene by East Farmingdale Copiague, North Lindenhurst, Village of Farmingdale and South Farmingdale. Amityville Fire Department sent a unit to cover for the duration. One firefighter suffered a medical emergency on scene and was transported. Suffolk Arson and Babylon Town Fire Marshals are investigating.
