June 19, 2013. Fazio is arrested by the DA’s Office for allegedly stealing money from the fire department, where he was the treasurer and recording secretary. Fazio was charged with grand larceny, defrauding the government and official misconduct.
Fazio allegedly stole over 12 thousand dollars. Fazio surrendered to the DA Squad on June 19th and was released without bail. Fazio was also arrested on Oct 12, 2012 and charged with stealing pop-up tents from the fire department. At the time of his arrest, he was employed as a dispatcher for the West Sayville Fire District.
