June 24, 2004. 62 year old woman with MS dies after her sweatshirt catches fire when she leans over the oven. The fire is confined to the victim and some combustibles in the kitchen. The fire was reported at approximately 1600 hours when a neighbor reported smelling smoke coming from the victims apartment. FD and PD force entry and find the victim on the floor deceased.
