July 22, 2004 Caretaker ignites fire while using a torch to remove paint. This was a mansion that overlooked to water. Fire damage was minimal, FD overhaul damage was minimal to moderate. There was a sprinkler system in this home. There were no injuries. St. James, Smithtown and Nissequogue at the scene to assist.
