September 23, 2016. Fred was an US Air Force Firefighter, a Past Chief of the Kings Park Fire Department, a Firefighter at the United Nations and a retired Senior Fire Marshal with the Town of Smithtown Department of Public Safety. Fred passed at age 78 at St. Catherines Hospital. Wake and Funeral Service was held at Butler Hughes Funeral Home in Kings Park and he is interred at Calverton National Cemetery.
