0422 HRS Hauppauge Fire Department responds with Central Islip Hauppauge Ambulance to a traffic collision near 438 Wheeler Road. Units arrive to find that a single vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The lone female occupant was pronounced DOA at the scene. 1st Assistant Chief Ronald Walker as well as CI-Hauppauge Ambulance 3-26-19 were on scene. SCPD closed the road between Express Drive North and Rabro for their investigation and until the pole and wires were repaired (just after 11AM).
