1505 hours. Central Islip FD is dispatched to a report of a residential structure fire at 9 Okane Street off McKinney Street. Units arrived to find heavy fire rolling out of the upper level of a two story dwelling. Crews stretched in while mutual aid was requested from the Islip Terrace Fire Department for a RIT and the East Islip FD to cover. The occupants evacuated safely.
