Numerous 9-11 remembrances held on this 18th anniversary

On the 18th anniversary of 9-11, numerous memorial services were held in the area. Services were held at the Hauppauge Fire Department, the St. James Fire Department, Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corp, Commack High School, Centereach Fire Department, Main Street Smithtown and at Responders Park in Nesconset. Hundreds of people attended the events.

LeRoy Homer. First Officer on Flight 93 which crashed in Shanksville, PA. Mr. Homer was a Veteran of Desert Storm.
Jose Angel Martinez Jr. Employed by Forest Electric. Died in the North Tower.
Frank V. Moccia Sr. Employed by Washington Group International. Died in the South Tower.
James Joseph Suozzo. Employed by Cantor Fitzgerald. Died in the North Tower.
John James Tipping II. FDNY Ladder 4. Died in the South Tower.
Raymond Meisenheimer. FDNY Rescue 3. Died in the South Tower.
Peter Brennan. FDNY Rescue 4.

Ezra Aviles. Port Authority employee.Died in the South Tower.
Eric Adam Eisenberg. Employed by Aon Corp.Died in the South Tower.
James Donald Munhall. Employee of Sandler O'Neill & Partners. Died in the South Tower.
Joseph A. Kelly. Employed by Cantor Fitzgerald. Died in the North Tower.

Rudolph Mastrocinque. Employee of Marsh and McLennan. Died in the North Tower.
Martin E. McWilliams. FDNY Engine 22.
Manika K. Narula. Employee of Cantor Fitzgerald. Died in the North Tower.
Gregory Stajk. FDNY Ladder 13. Stajk was a star pitcher for Kings Park High School in the 70s and had tried out for the Reds.

Numerous others have passed as a result of 9-11 related illness. I am trying to find a list of everyone from the Township that has passed since but I have not been able to find a central list of same. If you know of someone from the Township that has since passed as a result of 911 illness, please let me know so that I can add their name here. They should never be forgotten.
