Woman jumps out of ambulance in Lake Grove

Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating an incident in which a woman jumped out of a stopped ambulance in Lake Grove this evening.
 
Marlena Berretta jumped out of an ambulance that was stopped at a light on New Moriches Road, at approximately 5:50 p.m. She was being transported from Stony Brook University Hospital Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) to South Oaks Hospital in Amityville. Berretta fled eastbound on Route 347.
 
Berretta 29, is undomiciled. Her last known address was 29 Center Lane, Levittown. Berretta is white, 5 feet, 4 inches tall and approximately 110 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
